Dryer Fire in Theodore, AL

Dryer Fire in Theodore, AL

This client called SERVPRO of South Mobile County after the dryer caught fire and caused damage throughout their  home. Lint accumulation and reduced airflow feed on each other to provide conditions ripe for a fire. Lint is a highly combustible material. A number of dryer vent problems contribute to this.

Serving our Fire Fighters

Serving our Fire Fighters

Taking care of our customers after the smoke has cleared is what we do here at SERVPRO of South Mobile County.  Working around fire damage on a daily basis, we see the devastation that it can bring about.  This motivates us to give back to those who battle those flames, as well as those that have been affected by fire’s wrath.  SERVPRO Serves: Feeding Firefighters is a program that we started in 2017.  Each month we choose two fire stations to receive lunch on us.  This is our way of saying thank you for putting your life on the line to help our community.

Presentation of Commercial Cleaning-ESPORTA

Christopher Mayhall, owner of SERVPRO of South Mobile County, was recently given the opportunity to speak to a group our colleagues about our amazing Esporta washing system.  We are one of the only franchises along the entire Gulf Coast that has this cutting-edge cleaning technology.  The Esporta washing system allows us to clean items that would have previously been declared unsalvageable, dramatically reducing claims costs.  The Esporta’s patented chamber system eliminates the standard agitation of a typical washing machine.  This means that we can clean a variety of items from fragile textiles to leather goods, and even porcelain dolls!  Using a series of chambers and pushing through a customized mix of chemicals, the Esporta can remove up 99.9997 percent of contaminants.  This unique washing system is just one more way we are always looking to meet and exceed our clients’ expectations!

Thank you to all of our sponsors, DIP Seafood, The Grounds, Mud Bucket, volunteers, Brad Cox, SERVPRO of Northwest Mobile, USA Hospital, and every individual who either purchased a ticket or made a monetary donation. We were able to raise over $12,000 for the USA Hospital Arnold Luterman Regional Burn Unit. Without the community's support, none of this could be done. We are looking forward to next year's event.
